Founded in the early 1970’s, the National Council on Alcoholism and Drug Dependence of the San Fernando Valley [NCADD-SFV] is a non-profit community-based organization dedicated to providing multiple levels of substance-use disorder (SUD) outpatient treatment services to those in need of recovery, as well as education and prevention services to schools and the community regarding the disease of alcoholism and drug dependence/abuse and the negative effects abuse /addiction has on the individual, their family, and their community.

Every person has the right to be free from alcoholism and drug dependency. NCADD-SFV is dedicated to providing prevention, education and referral services to the community regarding the effects of alcohol and drug use / abuse, beginning with children and youth. Our vision is to provide quality prevention, education, treatment and counseling, and referral services regarding substance use disorders.
